When traveling it is super important to know the currency of the country and the exchange rate from your home currency to the local currency. Below we have a list of the different country currencies we have traveled to with their average exchange rate value from USD, Euro, and English Pound.
As well, we recommend you download the app Currency on your app store where it automatically displays the current exchange rate from your home country currency to the country you are visiting. It is very handy rather than googling the exchange rate all the time or searching around town for a good accurate exchange rate.

The USA ranges from moderately affordable to expensive depending on the state and city you visit. For example: If you visit bigger more touristy cities like NYC or LA they are more expensive than visiting Orlando, FL which is relatively more affordable.
Mexico 🇲🇽

Mexico is the biggest country in Latin America. One of the most touristic countries and is relatively affordable depending on where you stay, dine, and what excursions you do. Mexico used to be more affordable a couple of years ago, however, it’s growing with tourism and digital nomad lifestyle.
Belize 🇧🇿

Belize is a small country in between Guatemala and Mexico. It’s moderately priced and expensive due to most things being imported and relying on other countries for its economy.

Guatemala is a rather small country where prices vary. It is relatively cheaper than Belize but a bit more expensive than Mexico.

Puerto Rico is a US territory which uses the same currency using the USD. It is relatively affordable and a perfect paradise not far from the US.
Bahamas 🇧🇸

The Bahamas uses the US dollar even though they do have the Bahamian Dollar it is not commonly used due to tourism. The Bahamas is high in tourism making it an expensive little island very expensive even though there are some moderately affordable prices.

Colombia is a very affordable country that allows your money to stretch far. It can vary with luxury but even then the luxurious things are affordable. Even with growing tourism it is still strong with affordability.

Ecuador is a beautiful diverse country in South America where they use a neutralized currency of USD. In Ecuador there is a range of m moderate affordability and can be very expensive due to the nature and needing access with guided tours and of course visiting the infamous Galapagos Islands.

Peru is a relatively expensive country and big on tourism due to its beautiful nature and the infamous Machu Picchu. Costs will come from domestic flights, guided tours, and food.

Venezuela is currently under an economic crisis and is strict to get into the country. It is an expensive country overall.

England is known to have one of the highest currencies in the world. It Is known to be one of the most expensive countries to visit, especially the city of London. It is moderately affordable to expensive.

Wales is part of the UK using the same currency as the pound but it is the most affordable out of the three countries in the UK. Not too expensive and not too affordable it is moderate.
