Usually when we are planning a trip we make our own itinerary researching the area, picking an airbnb, picking on whether using public transport or renting a car but this time we decided to go for an All-Inclusive Resort in the Bahamas. We made that decision afterwards by calculating the cost between our own itinerary or staying at an All-Inclusive.
We stayed on Paradise Island at the All-Inclusive hotel called Warwick, an adult-only resort. Paradise Island offers a variety of All-Inclusive Resorts varying from family friendly resorts to adults only like the one we chose. Despite Warwick being an All-Inclusive resort what it did not include was a shuttle to and from the airport, however, you may call concierge for a referral for a shuttle company which we used Majestic Tours. The cost varies from a small van, big van, or a private car. It is recommended to go this route because it is more safe and there is a fixed price.
Warwick offers 3 restaurants and a buffet on the property. For the restaurants they are only open for dinner, and you must make reservations at your check-in with the concierge. They also have a fitness center which you have access to throughout your whole stay. As well there is a separate concierge for excursions, and spa where you can book massages and facials these services can either be paid by card or cash. On the property there are various pools, hot tubs, and a small beachfront including a sand volleyball court. If you want more beach access they provide a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to the beach and back until 5:00pm.
On the beach, be aware there are people who will be offering different services that are not regulated or recommended for tourists such as: jet skis because they are not regulated and can be dangerous as well as scams.
Inside Warwick you can enjoy different activities that they organize and host everyday. For example in the morning there are yoga classes, during the day pool volleyball tournaments, and in the evening jeopardy or karaoke. Besides enjoying the activities Warwick had to offer we decided to do one of the external excursions which was an all-day catamaran ride including snorkeling and seeing sea turtles.
After experiencing our first All-Inclusive Hotel we enjoyed our trip very much. We think as female travelers it was safe, fun, and was budget-friendly. For this particular location since it is an island and sometimes there are travel advisories we thought this was the best option. We highly recommend the Bahamas for Birthdays, Family Vacations, or Bachelor or Bachelorette Parties. There is fun available for everyone and every budget.
